
The Kajang MRT station is an elevated MRT station located at Jalan Reko and Jalan Bukit, interchanging with Kajang KTM station.
It is near and named after the town of Kajang, Selangor. The station is situated 1 km south from Kajang’s town center.
The MRT station is on the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line and was opened on 17 July 2017 under Phase Two operations of the line.
The MRT platforms for the station will be elevated above the current Komuter station.
The station will also serve feeder buses from the station once the MRT service launched for Kajang.

Currently, this station is the southernmost in the whole of the RapidKL rail network.
When the Putrajaya Sentral station is complete in 2022 the station will replace this station to be the southernmost station the entire network.

Exits and entrances
The MRT station has two entrances.
Both entrances are on either sides of the KTM station tracks, with lifts, escalators and stairs that lead to the common concourse of the KTM and MRT station. The feeder buses operate from the station’s feeder bus hub via Entrance A on Jalan Reko.

Feeder bus services
With the opening of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line, feeder buses also began operating linking the station with Taman Kajang Utama and Seksyen 8 Bangi.

Park and ride facility
As part of the construction of the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line, a multi-storey multi-storey park and ride facility was also constructed at this station.


The park and ride facility has 1180 car parking lots and 252 motorcycle parking lots. For MRT user, the parking charge is RM4.30 per entry and maximum RM11 per day (overnight charges).
