It was opened on 17 July 2017 under Phase Two operations of the MRT Kajang Line.

Station Layout
The Batu 11 Cheras MRT station has a layout and design similar to that of most other elevated stations on the MRT Kajang line (except the terminus and underground stations), with the platform level on the topmost floor, consisting of two sheltered side platforms along a double tracked line and a single concourse housing ticketing facilities between the ground level and the platform level.

The station adopts the standard elevated station design for the MRT Kajang Line, with two side platforms above the concourse level.
All levels are linked by lifts, stairways and escalators.

MRT stations of MRT Kajang Line
The MRT Kajang Line is the first line of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project (KVMRT) that began full operations in July 2017.

The MRT Kajang Line spans a total length of 51km and it runs underground for a distance of 9.5km beneath the centre of Kuala Lumpur while the rest of the alignment is elevated. The line has 30 stations of which 7 are underground station and 1 is provisional station (Bukit Kiara).
