The Ampang Park MRT station is an underground MRT station situated on the former site of Ampang Park Shopping Centre that is located opposite Intermark Mall along the busy stretch of Jalan Tun Razak.

The Ampang Park MRT station is one of the stations being built as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project on the MRT Putrajaya Line.

It started operations on March 16, 2023 as part of Phase Two operations of the MRT Putrajaya Line.




The Ampang Park MRT station is not integrated with the Ampang Park LRT station at the moment, so passengers will have to tap out from Ampang Park LRT station, resurface to ground level, and enter the other underground Ampang Park MRT station when changing between the two lines.

Both the Ampang Park MRT and LRT stations are close to the Citibank’s Malaysian headquarters, as well as the US Embassy, the Singapore High Commission, the Canadian High Commission, and the British High Commission which are all located in the area of Jalan Tun Razak, known as “Embassy Row”.

MRT stations of MRT Putrajaya Line
The MRT Putrajaya Line is the second line of the KVMRT Project to be developed after the successful completion of first line —
MRT Kajang Line in July 2017.

The MRT Putrajaya alignment spans a total length of 57.7km, consisting of 44.2km of elevated tracks and 13.5km running through underground tunnels. It has 39 operational stations of which 30 stations are elevated stations and 9 underground stations.
