The Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) is located at Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS), approximately 10 km south of Kuala Lumpur, bypassing road congestion in the KL city centre.
The proximity of TBS to the Middle Ring Road 2 and Besraya Expressway gives easy access to Malaysia’s expressway network.
The TBS integrates with the adjacent Bandar Tasik Selatan station (BTS) rail interchange stations, forming the TBS-BTS integrated transportation hub. It was opened for service on 1 January 2011 to be the main long distance bus terminal in Kuala Lumpur.
The TBS at Bandar Tasik Selatan is a 24-hour integrated transportation hub for passengers travelling to more than 150 destinations due south, east, and northern Malaysia, as well as across the borders to Singapore and Hat Yai, Thailand.
Originally started to be the bus terminal serving southbound buses, it has taken over the East Coast-bound bus services from Hentian Putra on December 2014, and 86% of northbound bus operations from Pudu Sentral on November 2015.

The terminal has 60 bus platforms, 150 taxi bays and 1,000 parking bays.
The bus arrival area has 18 bays that are closely located to elevators which connects commuters to the arrival hall.
Designed to handle 5,000 bus trips a day at maximum capacity, TBS handled about 1,300 bus trips daily as of October 2015, prior to the shift of northbound bus operations from Pudu Sentral.
As of December 2015, the terminal serves 52,000 travellers per day.
The TBS is designed from the ground up to provide the best experience to the passengers on transit.
Upholding the “airport experience” model in its daily operations, it aims to provide a clean, quiet, and cool environment for commuters to enjoy a comfortable and safe journey.

While waiting for loved ones or simply transiting through the terminal, TBS accommodates plenty of seats and air-conditioning comfort for passengers and users of this terminal.
In addition, it is fully accessible and equipped with the necessary amenities such as ATMs, baby care rooms, luggage trolleys and luggage storage.
Shopping and dining options are available as TBS has a variety of eateries and convenience stores.
The TBS strives to provide the upmost comfort and convenience for all south-bound, eastern, and north-bound bus express passengers.

For bus ticket purchse, the terminal has 41 Centralised Ticketing System (CTS) counters and 7 vending machines to buy tickets.
All ticket holders are advised to wait at the departure hall, which can accommodate up to 2,000 people, at least 30 minutes before the bus pick-up time.
