The Kampung Batu MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station that is built to serve the suburb Kampung Batu, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur.

The Kampung Batu MRT station is one of the elevated station being built as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project on the MRT Putrajaya Line.

This MRT station is within short walking distance to the Kampung Batu KTM Station.

It started operations on June 16, 2022 as part of Phase One operations of the MRT Putrajaya Line.










The Kampung Batu MRT station is located in the west side of Jalan Kampung Batu, Kuala Lumpur, named after the village of Kampung Batu (Batu Village) in northern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
It was built on the location of the disused colonial-era Batu Village railway station, just next to the existing Kampung Batu KTM Station.
The Kampung Batu MRT station was designated as the temporary terminus for Phase One operations of the MRT Putrajaya line until Phase 2 started on March 16, 2023.

Entrances and Exit
The main entrance for the Kampung Batu MRT station is Entrance A.

The entrance A is located along Jalan 1/18B Station KTM Kampung Batu and it provides access to Jalan 1/18B, feeder bus, taxi and private vehicle lay-by, and Park & Ride facility.


The entrance A accommodates escalators, stairs and lifts rising from at-grade level to the common concourse, serving both MRT and KTM users.

MRT stations of MRT Putrajaya Line
The MRT Putrajaya Line is the second line of the KVMRT Project to be developed after the successful completion of first line —
MRT Kajang Line in July 2017.

The MRT Putrajaya alignment spans a total length of 57.7km, consisting of 44.2km of elevated tracks and 13.5km running through underground tunnels. It has 39 operational stations of which 30 stations are elevated stations and 9 underground stations.
