Sultan Abdul Samad Building is located in Kuala Lumpur, situated opposite of the Dataran Merdeka.

The building houses the offices of the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture of Malaysia.
Surrounding the square are many buildings of historical interest. Just opposite the building is the Dataran Merdeka.
Top right corner is the Cathedral of Saint Mary the Virgin, the Tudor-style Royal Selangor Club faces the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

On the other corner of the field, the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery and the National Textile Museum invite you to take another look at traditional textiles and the humble beginnings of the city.
Topped by a shiny copper dome and a 40m high clock tower, this Building is a major landmark in the city.

It serves as the backdrop for important events such as the National Day Parade on 31 August and the ushering in of the New Year.

★ RapidKL Bus: The RapidKL Bus No U4, U7, U13, U14, U209 will stop at Jalan Raja bus stop. The Building is within short walking distance.
