KLIA Transit train passengers were left stranded for about an hour after the KLIA Transit train heading to KL Sentral experienced a door malfunction at the Putrajaya / Cyberjaya ERL station here.

A passenger, requesting to be identified only as Noor, 33, said he was in a KLIA Transit train from klia2 and reached the Putrajaya/Cyberjaya ERL station at about 7.50am Friday.
"It was supposed to be a brief stop, but the train just came to a halt and after 10 minutes, an announcement came, informing passengers that there was a technical problem.
"Some passengers then got out of the train, which was packed, and waited on the platform.
"Later, we were informed that another train experienced malfunction and the passengers from that train were then transferred to our train. The train service resumed at 8.45am," he told Bernama.
Meanwhile, KLIA Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) in a statement said the KLIA Transit 7.16am train heading to KL Sentral experienced a door malfunction and all services from the terminal stations were temporarily halted.
It said ERL initiated a combined services for both KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services from 9am.
"Both services have resumed operations since 9.30am, with the first departure for KLIA Transit from KL Sentral at 9.33am and 9.40am for KLIA Ekspres.
"From KLIA2, the normal departure for KLIA Ekspres was at 9.35am and KLIA Transit, at 9.48am," it said.
ERL apologised for the inconvenience caused. – Bernama
