Sime Darby Property Bhd has launched Serenia City, its first township offering in five years, located within Kuala Lumpur’s southern growth corridor which is also touted as “the first Digital Free Trade Zone hub in the world”.

Sime Darby Property GM Mohd Idris Abdullah said the township is built based on the property development group’s tradition which emphasises much on accessibility.
“Serenia City continues the group’s tradition of developing great townships with superior connectivity combined with excellent features for today’s lifestyle,” he said in a statement yesterday.
The township will be directly linked to the ELITE (North-South Expressway Central Link) Highway through the Bandar Serenia interchange, which is targeted for completion by October 2018.
It is also already connected to the North-South Expressway, the MEX (Maju Expressway) Highway and located near the Salak Tinggi ERL (Express Rail Link) station.
The development is poised to be the next shopping destination with the Horizon Village Outlets expected to be open by next year.
Other attractions within the area include schools, hospitals, retail outlets and malls, alongside the International Xiamen University which is located nearby.
Spanning 718.32ha, the township is also located near the federal government’s administrative centre in Putrajaya, information and technology hub Cyberjaya and within a close proximity to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2.
Serenia City will feature two parks namely the Central Park and Adventure Park.
Central Park is envisioned to be the first landmark upon entering the township via Bandar Serenia interchange with a 36km-linked jogging and cycling track.
The township’s first residential development, Serenia Amani, will be made available for reservations during the official launch at the Serenia City Sales Gallery, Sepang, on March 31, 2018, from 8.30am to 5pm.
The residential development spans across 10.17ha and comprises 302 units of 20ft by 70ft double-storey link homes with a built-up area from 1,830 sq ft to 2,055 sq ft.
Sime Darby Property is offering the first phase of 126 units for sales with prices starting from RM536,888 (with pre-Bumiputera discount).
Special privileges are also available for its PRIME members and special sales packages awaiting its purchasers.
The residential development is slated for completion in April 2020, with homes that feature multigenerational traits expected to cater to property upgraders and families with both young and old members.
