It would appear that klia2 has overshadowed the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT).
The impression to most first-time visitors to klia2 would be its mammoth size. Its 257,000 sq m is four times that of LCCT.
The massive multiple storey parking is a welcome relief here.
More impressive are the retail and dinning choices at Gateway@klia2.
The airport mall boasts two bookstores – MPH and WHSmith – and there will also be beauty outlets and grocery shops.
There are 180 shops at the mall which are not inclusive of another 40 stores inside the airport and the duty-free shops.
Built not only for passengers but KLIA’s 20,000 workforce Gateway@KLIA provides a variety of restaurants, including fast-food and kopitiam.
There are facilities such as those for nursing mothers.
The disabled on wheelchairs were also seen moving around easily.
