In conjunction with the official opening of Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) on 24 June 2014, Pos Malaysia Berhad will release commemorative stamps and other philatelic products.
Its stamps and philately unit head Yasmin Ramli said they were available in four designs featuring the Main Terminal Building, Gateway@klia2, Skybridge and Departure Hall.
Stamp collectors could get this special collection at the nearest Pos Malaysia outlets beginning at 8.30 am tomorrow, she told reporters, here today.
Meanwhile, Pos Malaysia in a statement said the 50,000 first day covers were also available and sold at 50 sen each, starting tomorrow.
Apart from that, the folder is priced at RM6 each and available at selected outlets.
Stamp enthusiasts are advised to join Standing Order Deposit Account (SODA) to enjoy the convenience of receiving their stamps and other philatelic products without having to queue up at the post office on the day of issue. — BERNAMA
