The passport office in KLIA will open for passport applications on Thursday, 19 January 2023.
From 19 January 2023 (Thursday), Malaysians will be able to apply for their passports at the new passport office located in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the Malaysian Immigration Department (Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, or JIM) has announced.
The office, which officially opens on that day, will operate from 8am to 7pm daily.
JIM has also shared the following updated operating hours of passport issuing counters and offices, effective 7 January 2023 (Saturday):
State passport offices & branches
Operating hours on weekdays: 8am to 7pm
Operating hours specifically for Perlis, Pahang, Kedah, and Terengganu: 8am to 5pm
List of offices operating on Saturdays:
- Menara Ikhlas, Putrajaya
- Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur
- Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur
- Shah Alam, Selangor
- Kelana Jaya, Selangor
- Kajang, Selangor
- Puchong, Selangor
- Setia Tropika, Johor
- Kulai, Johor
- Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang
Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs)
Operating hours:
Weekdays: 8am to 9pm
Weekends: 8am-5pm
Operating hours of UTCs in Perlis, Pahang, Kedah, and Terengganu: 8am to 5pm on weekdays and weekends
