The Abdullah Hukum LRT station is an elevated LRT station that forms part of the Kelana Jaya Line LRT. From 28 October 2018, the ground level section of the station was built / converted to be the Abdullah Hukum KTM station that lies between the KL Sentral KTM station and Angkasapuri KTM station along the KTM Komuter’s Port Klang Line.

The Abdullah Hukum station is named after the nearby Kampung Haji Abdullah Hukum, an urban village located between the station and the Klang River.
The setup of the newer KTM section at the Abdullah Hukum Station complex was built as part of the KL Eco City development located adjacent to KTM Bhd’s Port Klang branch line. A new pedestrian bridge is recently completed to connect the Abdullah Hukum station to the Mid Valley City.

Similar to the adjoining Bangsar LRT station, Abdullah Hukum station is erected along Jalan Bangsar, further south, but is situated just over the Pantai Baharu exit of the New Pantai Expressway.

In addition to serving the southeastern village, the station is also accessible from the southwestern tip of Taman Bukit Pantai from the station’s northwest.
Design of Abdullah Hukum station
The Abdullah Hukum station is fashioned to be elevated above an access roadway, similar to the Bangsar LRT station. The station’s layout is somewhat consistent with other elevated Kelana Jaya Line stations.

The station has three levels: The access points at street level, and the ticket area and adjoining platforms on two elevated levels. All levels are linked via stairways, escalators and elevators designated for disabled passengers.

A common concourse one level above ground level links both the KTM Komuter and LRT stations.

Each of the station’s two side platforms is used by trains travelling at either direction of the line, and is entirely sheltered by roofs.
Connectivity to Mid Valley City
A pedestrian bridge connecting the former Kampung Haji Abdullah Hukum and Mid Valley City was officially opened to the public on 14 November 2019.

The bridge, which crosses the Klang River and the Bangsar-Petaling Jaya bypass, allows commuters to walk comfortably between the Abdullah Hukum station and The Gardens Mall; as well as provides easy access to Mid Valley Megamall, KTM Komuter stations and KL Eco City.
The bridge is connected to the Gardens Mall on the first floor of its south side, near Isetan. From there, visitors can walk to Mid Valley Megamall. The 250-metre long bridge is open from 6am to 1am daily.
The bridge is expected to change the travel habits of many workers, shoppers and hotel guests at Mid Valley City, and provide a boost to Kelana Jaya LRT’s ridership, which stands at 330,000 daily.

With this addition, the Mid Valley City can now be accessed easily with the KTM Komuter through the Mid Valley KTM Komuter station or this Abdullah Hukum station.
Location of Abdullah Hukum station
The Abdullah Hukum station is located between Jalan Bangsar and the KL Eco City development to the south of the central business district of Kuala Lumpur.

It is nearby Kampung Haji Abdullah Hukum and the Klang river.

Besides KL Eco City, another major landmark near the Abdullah Hukum Station is the Tenaga Nasional Berhad headquarters which is located across Jalan Bangsar from the station.
