Lake Gardens, also known as Perdana Botanical Gardens, is Kuala Lumpur’s first large-scale recreational park. Measuring 91.6 hectares, it is located in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Lake Gardens Park is the perfect place of refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. It contains large sculpted and manicured gardens and a host of attractions.
At the park, shuttle trams are available daily from 9am to 6pm. You can rent bicycles for a relaxing ride. Guided walks are provided free of charge on Sundays, 8am to 10am.
Among the tourist attractions located at Lake Gardens are the National Monument, deer park, Hibiscus garden, Orchid Garden, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park and Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park.


How to go to Lake Gardens Park
The garden is located along Jalan Perdana or Venning Road.
KTM Komuter: Take the KTM Komuter and stop at the Kuala Lumpur Komuter station.
From the Komuter station, walk pass the Masjid Negara, and follow the road sign, the Lake Gardens Park is about 20 minutes walk away.
RapidKL Bus: Take the RapidKL bus B112 from Pasar Seni LRT station. This will drop you at the National Museum which is at the edge of the park.
