From July 1st, the Malaysian low-cost carrier will fly from Kuala Lumpur to both of Bangkok’s international airports.
Malaysian newcomer MYAirline has announced its first international destination. From June 28th, the airline will fly daily from its hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK).

And the low-cost carrier is not stopping there. Just a few days later, on July 1st, it will also launch daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), making it the first Malaysian airline to operate to both of the Thai capital’s international airports.
Later in the summer, MYAirline plans to increase the frequency of both routes to double daily.

MYAirline’s Chief Executive Officer, Rayner Teo, celebrated the announcement, saying,
“We are elated to finally reveal our first international destination, which was in the planning stage for many months now. Bangkok is a favored destination for travelers from Malaysia, offering so much, from its bustling streets and delicious food to its cultural landmarks and nightlife. We are excited to provide a more reliable, convenient, and cost-effective travel option for passengers. Similarly, we are excited to offer tourists and businesspeople departing from Thailand the experience that Malaysians have been receiving aboard MYAirline for the past six months.”
MYAirline’s Bangkok flight schedule
MYAirline’s new flights to Bangkok will operate as per the following schedule:

All flights are operated by the Airbus A320 aircraft, of which the carrier currently has seven in its fleet, according to data from ch-aviation.com. Each aircraft can carry a maximum of 180 passengers in an all-economy configuration.
MYAirline commenced operations in December 2022, and currently flies to eight domestic destinations from Kuala Lumpur, including Penang (PEN), Kuching (KIA), and Kota Kinabalu (BKI).
The airline has stated its intentions to expand its international route network throughout 2023, although no further destinations have yet been announced.
