Good news public transport commuters, there’s now another cheaper option to get to the airport.
It has just been announced today (Friday, 8th March) that the public can now travel to KL International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 via airport shuttle service from the Putra Heights LRT station for only RM10.

Those who wish to travel to any of the 2 airports may purchase the combo ticket at any LRT, MRT, BRT or monorail counter. “The combo ticket is sold for RM10 and comprises rail and bus tickets for a one-way journey. So if you’re staying in Sungai Buloh, for example, you can take the MRT, then take the LRT to come here (Putra Heights LRT station) and hop on the bus, all for just RM10,” said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
The drive from Putra Heights LRT to the airport will take approximately 40 minutes. There are 5 shuttle buses that operate on a daily basis with a total capacity of 37 passengers in a bus. Loke added that each bus usually departs every 30 minutes.
Of course, there are other options. There are always buses that travel to the airport from KL Sentral and One Utama.
