Yesterday, Malaysian Digest highlighted an alert by one of our loyal readers concerning a notice on display in duty free outlets in klia2 which was embarrassingly plagued with grammatical errors.

As the notice on display went viral, the Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad (Malaysia Airports) management today were quick to address the issue and have amended the notice accordingly.
In a reply via Twitter, the management have thanked us for running the story addressing their oversight on the matter.
Accompanied with the response was a picture of the newly revised notice that the management have displayed, and this time, with a better command of English.
"@malaysiandigest Thank you for being our eyes and ears! We have revised all notices," tweeted @MY_Airports
As a member of the Commonwealth countries where English is frequently used as a medium of communication in our everyday lives, and unlike other Southeast Asian nations like Cambodia or Vietnam, such amateur mistakes should have not occurred as it would create confusion among travellers who rely heavily on notices and signboards to navigate their way in the country.
Having said this, the Malaysian Digest team would like to applaud the swift action taken by the Malaysia Airports management team in addressing the public’s concerns.
Kudos!
