About Batik Air
Batik Air is a rapidly expanding Malaysian-based airline with its main hubs at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, KLIA Main Terminal and Subang Skypark, the convenient KL downtown city airport in Selangor, Malaysia. About B737-8: The Batik Air B737-8 is configured in a two-class layout, with 12 new Business Class seats laid out in a 2-2 configuration. The new Business Class seat has been specially designed for regional and medium-haul routes, offering enhanced levels of comfort, privacy and functionality. The Economy class, with 150 Economy Class seats, is in a 3-3 layout configuration. The new generation seats are now available on the Batik Air B737-8 aircraft. They are ergonomically designed to provide customers with improved headrests for comfort, more personal space and increased legroom.
The fleet of Batik Air consists of 8 ATR72-600s, 26 B737-8/800 NG aircraft, and 2 A330-300 aircraft. Batik Air effectively manages 800 weekly flights across an expanding network of 52 routes within the region. Notably, the B737-8 aircraft, configured in a single class, accommodates either 180 or 189 seats.
