Dagang NeXchange Bhd’s (DNeX) subsidiary Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd has signed a partnership agreement with Kale Logistics Solutions Pte Ltd to implement a new digital platform at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Both parties will conduct a study for the new Airport Cargo Community System (ACS) platform to connect airport stakeholders under one umbrella.
This platform would be neutral and open, enabling smart and secure information exchange between public and private stakeholders to improve the competitive position of Malaysian airport communities.
The partnership with Mumbai, India-based Kale will also complement Dagang Net’s capability to grow in trade facilitation e-services.
The ACS is to integrate with other community systems like the National Single Window (NSW) and Port Community Systems (PCS) to allow for exchange of trade data within the trade community.
With ACS also enhancing airport community competitiveness, overall operational efficiency, connectivity, and productivity will improve, said DNeX group MD Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir.
“The ACS enables seamless electronic transaction, equipped with intelligent and secure information exchange among stakeholders to enhance the airport community competitiveness.
“This in turn can contribute to efforts in improving Malaysia’s competitiveness in its transport and logistics sectors as well as overall operational efficiency, connectivity, and productivity across the country’s supply chain,” he added.
Dagang Net has been spearheading paperless, electronic customs-related services to ease trade facilitation and streamlining international trading processes for the import and export, trade and logistics industries, and this initiative is aligned with the company’s direction, he said.
Bursa Malaysia-listed DNeX is a global technology company operating in three business divisions namely technology, energy, and information technology.
