Today’s choice is a great combination of giving back and festive cheer. In the countdown to Lunar New Year this Friday (12 February), Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) took the opportunity to show its appreciation of the tireless efforts of frontliners at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
Over 180 officers from Malaysia’s Ministry of Health Quarantine Centre have conducted compulsory COVID-19 document checks and screening tests for KLIA passengers arriving from international destinations.
MAG representatives presented workers with a range of gifts, including 200 Malaysia Airlines inflight amenity kits, ten cartons of Dilmah tea and oranges.

Malaysia Airlines released a special video, A Twist in Tradition, to spread New Year festive cheer. The story tells how the Wongs, who are not able to gather for a traditional reunion dinner, find creative ways to usher in the Year of the Ox, even during the pandemic.
The carrier also introduced a Lunar New Year Signature Peanuts Gift Box. The limited-edition pack, which can be used as a condiment for the traditional Yee Sang Lunar New Year dish, is available via the airline’s Temptations e-retail store.
