Malaysia Airports Holdings (MAHB) is on the hunt for a media agency to manage, operate and maintain advertisements at its list of airports. According to the tender notice seen by A+M, these include KLIA, klia2, Penang International Airport, Langkawi International Airport, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, and Kuching International Airport. The tender closes on 11 May. MAHB declined to comment on A+M’s queries.
MAHB is currently running a Raya shopping campaign on shopMYairports to bring the festive shopping spirit to consumers with site-wide deals of more than 300 brands.
The campaign, which runs until 25 May, also enables shoppers to give back to those in need by purchasing specially curated festive hampers for selected charity homes.
The hampers will be delivered for free to the homes as a token of appreciation to the shoppers.
Just today, MAHB renewed its partnership with the Asian Business Aviation Association. This will see the Asian Business Aviation Association offering advisory and expertise from various fields and aid in airport planning.
Meanwhile, MAHB will invest in developing the infrastructure and capacity to benefit the aviation players in the ecosystem, The Star reported.
Meanwhile in April, MAHB said a total of 20 new international destinations and 80 additional domestic flights are expected to boost air travel further for the network of airports it operates, including Turkey’s Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.
Some of the new destinations include Hamburg, Basel, Zurich, Sarajevo, Copenhagen, Lyon, and Hannover for flights from Turkey with up to 25 weekly frequencies.
