The first VTL flight ferrying travellers using the air Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) from Singapore arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) this morning.

There were 240 passengers on the Singapore Airlines Flight SQ108 which arrived at KLIA about 9am.

The arrival was welcomed with a water salute ceremony.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and his Singapore counterpart, Lee Hsien Loong, are expected to launch the land VTL today.
A Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) to be launched between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Changi Airport on November 29, 2021. Under the VTL, fully-vaccinated travellers will be able to travel between Singapore and Malaysia, and be subjected to Covid-19 tests in lieu of serving quarantine or a stay-at-home notice.
There are four airlines operating under this programme, namely Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Singapore Airlines and Scoot.
