MITSUI Outlet Park KLIA Sepang (MOP KLIA), Japan’s branded factory outlet shopping mall announced the winners for its “Spend & Win a Car” contest with each driving back a Toyota Avanza and Toyota Yaris respectively.

Held in conjunction with the mall’s Chap Goh Meh celebration, the winners competed in a steep contest with 13,000 other entries which began during the MOP KLIA’s 2019 Christmas promotion.
The contest only required shoppers to spend a minimum amount of RM300 in a maximum of two receipts to participate.
In a statement yesterday, MFMA Development Sdn Bhd deputy MD TJ Cheah said: “In MOP KLIA, there are always rewards for shoppers. The value shoppers bring back with them is more than what they pay for.”
The winner of the Toyota Avanza, Suhaimi Mahdar, 52, said he had forgotten all about the contest. “I filled out the ‘Spend and Win a Car’ form at the information counter to participate but did not think much about it after that. I later received a call informing me that I was in the running to win an Avanza and all I needed to do was to answer one question correctly.
“I did not quite believe that it was true until they read out my IC number,” added Suhaimi.
Suhaimi said he will be on the lookout for more campaigns by MOP KLIA.
Mohd Zafri Mohd Shariff, 52, winner of the Toyota Yaris had entered several contests like this in the past but was never lucky enough to win anything.
When asked about his plan with the new car, Mohd Zafri said he will now have a car in standby if an emergency happens, and he can drive different cars every other week as well.
In line with the Visit Malaysia 2020, MOP KLIA hosts Malaysian festivities throughout the year by offering unique experiences for tourists and local visitors alike.
MOP KLIA offers up to 70% discounts all year round to boost their shopping value with cash back promotions, winnings from contests and lucky picks.
Strategically located just eight minutes away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 and approximately 45 minutes from KL City Centre, the mall is easily accessible through various highways like ELITE, LDP, Kesas, Maju Expressway, North-South Expressway Central Link and the NKVE.
