MALAYSIA Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) is organising its first-ever airport-wide sales event — KLIA Crazy Sale, at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) from Aug 26-31 to help airport retailers reach a wider market.
In a statement today, the airport operator said the event aimed at helping the industry and retail partners overcome the impact of COVID-19 by coming up with unique offerings whilst offering phenomenal discounts on travel-exclusive, duty-absorbed products to the public.

It is also collaborating with Tourism Malaysia to organise the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia Mini Travel Fair in conjunction with the sale.
MAHB group chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh said the organisation of Cuti-Cuti Malaysia Mini Travel Fair was in line with the Domestic Tactical Push joint strategy that the company has developed with Tourism Malaysia to induce the recovery of domestic travel and economy.
“As travel restrictions are steadily easing, we hope that Malaysians can once again look forward to travelling locally through this event. We are confident of a positive turnout and are expecting an average of 3,000 visitors per day,” he added.
The event will also offer the first-ever Airport Staycation Package by Sama Sama Hotel KLIA for families to experience exclusive tour and exciting fire-fighting simulation activities at the Airport Fire Station.
