AirAsia’s e-marketplace ‘Ourshop’ is kicking off a flash sale, offering 50 per cent discounts off products storewide, in celebration of its first anniversary this month.
According to a statement released by AirAsia, the online shopping extravaganza will only run from July 7 to 9 – valid for just 72 hours.
In addition to the pre-booking, duty-free products offered at heavily-discounted prices, the promotion will also allow shoppers to enjoy the added convenience of collecting their purchases either on-board AirAsia flights, or at selected airports.
Ourshop followers on social media (Facebook and Instagram) will also be given the opportunity to take advantage of the additional 24 hours of discount-laden shopping by looking out for the unique flash sale promo code.
According to Ourshop chief executive officer Lalitha Sivanaser, massive discounts on local and international brands and products will be rewarded to shoppers.
“We’re also running a ‘Birthday GIFTaway’, with prizes worth RM1 million up for grabs for the lucky shoppers.
“They (prizes) include up to 1.5 million AirAsia BIG points, return flights to Melbourne, Ourshop shopping vouchers, and also hotel vouchers. All you have to do is visit ourshop.com every day during the campaign period and stand a chance to win.”
Ourshop is a unique marketplace that sells a wide range of duty-free and travel retail products that cover local and international brands. The platform is not only accessible via AirAsia’s almost 100 million guests carried per year, but any traveller who uses airports supported by this e-commerce platform, which was designed with accessibility, convenience and affordability in mind.
Aside from the convenience of buying via devices, travellers will also have peace of mind that they are purchasing from the official retailers or brands directly – this is to ensure the quality and authenticity of the products.
Shoppers choosing to pre-book their duty-free via the e-marketplace can now collect at Eraman duty-free outlets in Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2), Aelia Duty Free at Melbourne’s Avalon Airport, Lagardère Hong Kong at Hong Kong International Airport, Plaza Bali at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Jakarta and AirAsia’s newly-formed partnership with Regent Asia, which should enable airport collection in the Philippines soon.
Shoppers can also opt to pre-book and collect their products on-board AirAsia flights.

For the record, the 50 per cent discount is capped at RM500, and the daily reward is limited to one per user and it must connect to AirAsia BIG member account via ourshop.com.
