Malindo Air will expand its flights to key destinations, including a fourth daily flight between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in February next year.
In a statement here, Malindo Air chief executive Chandran Rama Muthy said the fourth daily flight on the KL-Singapore route will start together with the carrier’s daily routes to Kathmandu in Nepal from Feb 6.
“Since launching thrice daily flights to Singapore early last month, our services have received encouraging response from the public,” said Chandran.
The new flight will depart klia2 at 3.05pm and expected to arrive in Singapore at 4.05pm.
The return flight will leave the republic at 4.50pm and arrive at klia2 at 5.50pm daily.
Malindo Air’s current Singapore-bound Malindo flights now depart from klia2 at 8am, 11.45am and 5.55pm.
KL-bound flights leave Singapore daily at 10am, 1.40pm and 7.55pm.
On a related matter, Malindo Air said there is an ongoing promotion for passengers on all flights to Singapore.
This include an offer that starts at RM60 for one-way trips in the Economy Class.
The promotion also includes a free 15kg baggage allowance, in-flight entertainment and light refreshments.
A one-way Business Class (including a 40kg baggage allowance) promotion sees fares starting from RM274.
Malindo Air said it has also doubled its weekly fly-ins to Bangkok from seven to 14 flights.
Its Delhi flights have also been increased from seven to eight times a week.
