The Kinrara BK5 LRT station is a LRT station at Kinrara, a township in Puchong, Selangor. It is currently the southern terminus for passenger services on the line.
Kinrara BK5 LRT station is operated under the Sri Petaling Line. Like most other LRT stations operating in Klang Valley, this station is elevated.
The work of Ampang extension line kicked off middle of 2013 starts from Awan Besar station and passes through Kinrara, Puchong and ends at Putra Heights. The extension is 17.7 km long with 11 new stations and will be completed in stages. The first stage of 4 stations is completed on September 2015 and commence operation on 31 October 2015.
The second stage would be covering the remaining stations and scheduled for operations at the end of March 2016.
The Kinrara BK5 station is strategically located in the heart of Bandar Kinrara and will serve residents from Bandar Kinrara 2 to Bandar Kinrara 8, including the nearby Taman Kinrara and Taman Bukit Kuchai. The station is equipped with basic facilities such as toilets, surau, lifts, and shops. There are also special facilities for the disabled.
The station has a dedicated park-and-ride facility and is located near the new BK5 commercial hub, including the nearby Giant Bandar Kinrara.
